STEP 0: Components installation: Python and PyQt

• QtiSAS is now distributed always with Python scripting support.
• You can install the required versions through installation interface (for versions >= v.0.12.11)

STEP 0: Components installation: MS Visual Studio 2022

• [optional] If you plan to compile fitting functions: MS Visual Studio 2022 (f.e. Community free version) should be installed: MSVC2022

• [optional] If you plan to compile fitting functions that include Fortran code, gfortran is needed. 'gfortran' is part or MinGW. It could be installed via internet, but we recommend to use version ready for download (WinGW64 810-64). This version could be downloaded here as a zip below and just unzip it to C:\ folder: C:\mingw810_64: mingw810_64.zip

STEP 1: Program installation

• Download current QtiSAS version for windows and follow instructions inside installation:

STEP 2[optional]: Download of additional files: like fitting functions, SA.S instruments, Colour Maps, Templates, …

• Copy to your home directory: C:\Users\xxx\ApppData\Local\qtisas\

• Git-Get buttons will be integrated for all sans-tolls to download optional files from repositories like now implemented to read fitting functions:

* After pressing “Git-Get” button * All Functions from Repo will be downloaded * No existing function fill be overwritten * all SasView functions will be installed
